Handmade Organ Grinder
Wally Venable, a longtime associate of Monongalia Arts Center displayed his homemade Organ Grinder during the opening night of our Gallery of Gifts. Wally built the piece using plans that he found online. He informed us that there really were no instructions, but said that it wasn't difficult to figure out. All of the pieces were hand-crafted by Wally. It was amazing to watch visitors reactions to it while he played. All the while informing them that no electricity was required.
