MACknitters – This group of knitters meets the third Saturday of each month from Noon – 4:00 p.m. at the MAC. The next meeting is May 17, 2008. Everyone is welcome from beginner to advanced. Local fiber artist Susie Slider hosts the group. This is not a class, but Susie does assist anyone who has questions or problems with their knitting projects. This is a great opportunity for you to learn from and share with fellow knitters. We advise that you phone MAC the day before to confirm meeting. A $2.00 per person donation to MAC is greatly appreciated.

Do
you have the itch to stitch?
Why not do it among friends. Starting at 7pm on the last Wednesday of every
month, bring a bobbin, some thread, patterns and yourself to our swanky Stitch
Lounge located in the MAC Silver Factory (Lower Level). You can reserve a sewing
machine if you don't have one, though we recommend bringing your own (we only
have a few extra machines to share). We will provide an eclectic mix of vintage
and recycled fabrics as well as stylized atmosphere. Also, if you don't know
what to make but want to do something we have a few patterns and ideas. This is
completely low stress and you need to only make a $5 donation to
"Keep-MAC-Sewing-Jar" if you use our machines or if you feel generous.
Why sew alone to VH1 reruns when you can do the same thing among friends in a
cooler atmosphere?

Harmony Yoga will teach you ways to decrease stress through
awareness of your breathing, body, mind and spirit.
What to Wear: Wear comfortable and modest clothing which permits easy movement. Skirts and shorts are not appropriate
for yoga.
What to Bring: Please bring a washcloth and blanket
Health Considerations: Prior to taking the class you must have your doctor complete a medical clearance form (available at MAC or online) if you have any chronic or acute health conditions such as high blood pressure, heart condition, back/joint problems, recent injury/surgery, or are experiencing any inflammation.

- Minimum enrollment must be met two days prior to the start date of a class, or the class
is subject to cancellation.
- Class size is limited to maximize learning. Enroll early to ensure your place!
- Fees will be refunded only if notice is received at least 24 hours prior to the beginning
of the class. MAC does not prorate class fees.
- A complete refund will be made if MAC is required to cancel a class due to insufficient enrollment.
- It is MAC's policy that sick children and adults refrain from participating in
classes or events.
